Secret sources for cheap traffic
May 6th, 2009 Posted in Pay Per Click Advertising, Traffic, mediaI just completed another great interview, this time with Ciarán Doyle on generating traffic with alternative media sources you have probably never heard of. These sources use…
- Banners
- Pop-ups
- Pop-unders
- Contextual ads
- PPC providers
- Tier 2 search engines
They are generally a lot less expensive than Google or Yahoo, the restrictions are fewer, the reach greater, and you don’t need a lot of money to get started.
The audio is about 90 minutes, and I promise it’s full of information you can use right now to get more traffic to a Web site, product page, or affiliate link. (If you are part of the Arbitrage Conspiracy, take note).
In fact, if you need traffic to just about any site, you’ll want to listen to this right away since you can get started within minutes of learning this information!
There’s nothing to buy, and no opt-in required, so give it a listen and let me know what you think by posting a comment on the blog…

Geez Jonathan, I don\’t know how you could\’ve made that interview any more valuable. I think I\’m going to stop talking to you directly and just listen to your recordings.

Awesome Audio Jonathan and Ciaran,
I love all these resources for buying media which are much overlooked.
Many thanks for that great content and some great ideas.
I have opted into your marketing letter and look forward to your future seminars on Media Buying.
It would be great to see some additional resources for buying media traffic.
Take care

Hey Jonathan, I watched your video with the black hat. I was wondering if your “makemoneywithgoogle.com” site got slapped recently b/c of how hard G has come down on affiliates promoting offers like Google Money Tree on Adwords? I have listened to my members saying that they have been dismissed from adwords and asked never to return just for running offers with the word “Google” in them. I imagine it’s all part of the backlash on flogs, farticles and rebill offers.
Good video. It was a nice suprise to see you on my site.
Thanks and take care,
Corey Bornmann

Hey Corey,
Love AffPortal, you guys have some great tools! I haven’t had any problems with the big G mainly because I have don’t run those kinds of offers and I generally stay away from AdWords as a traffic source, focusing on places where the restrictions are lower and the costs are less (Yahoo, Banners, Email). I have used this name mainly for the Perry Belcher Google course, and before that I was using it for Perry Marshall’s AdWords system, both of whom I believe are on Google’s good side;)

Jonathan, Great audio. Only I want more details. I have been thinking about buying banner ads. Thanks for the tips on Ad Marketplace and Ad Ready. Which banner networks has been most profitable for you? Not just the ones you heard about at the convention but ones you actually use? I agree with you that scalable is where it is at.

By the way Jonathan. I thought your content was quality so I decided I would give YOU some free traffic. I linked to your audio on my blog below and gave you a recomendation. What do I get? I get a little credibility by recommending something worthwhile. Maybe my viewers will be a little more inclined to take a look at my \"pitches\" when they come around. Thanks for the info. Matt.

Totally Awesome! Who would have thought that picking up a penny in a parking lot would be what you need to produce a lead.
URL scrapper is a good way to go to automate your target market.
